Gold Mohur Overseas (“we”, “us”, “our”) manufactures and exports rice rubber rollers and rice milling accessories from India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through goldmohuroverseas.com (the “Website”), why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What personal data we collect
Contact and quote forms. When you submit our Contact form or Request a Quote form, we collect the information you enter: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company or mill name, country, the products you are interested in, roller size, quantity, subject, and your message. Name, email, phone and country are required on the quote form; other fields are optional.
Blog comments. If you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect the name, email address and optional website you enter, the comment text, your IP address and browser user-agent string. These are used for spam detection and to display your comment. An anonymised hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check for a profile picture. Gravatar’s privacy policy is at automattic.com/privacy.
Direct correspondence. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the correspondence and the contact details you share so we can respond and follow up.
Technical and traffic data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser type). Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, also loads a traffic-measurement script that records page views and basic device and browser information. We do not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or advertising pixels on this Website.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. The Website is intended for businesses and trade buyers.
3. Why we use your data and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry or quote request and to discuss products, pricing, specifications and shipping. Basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
- To fulfil orders and provide after-sales support, including export documentation. Basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
- To keep the Website secure and working, including spam and abuse prevention. Basis: legitimate interest.
- To comply with law, including Indian export, tax and record-keeping requirements. Basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Website and respond to you:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): delivers the email notifications generated by our forms and our replies to you. Privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
- GoDaddy (hosting): stores the Website, its database including form submissions, and server logs. Privacy policy: godaddy.com/legal/agreements/privacy-policy.
- Google Fonts: the Website loads fonts from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when fonts are requested. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- YouTube: some pages contain YouTube videos that load only after you click play. Once loaded, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect data under its own policy.
- Freight forwarders, banks and customs agents, only as needed to ship an order you have placed.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the European Union and the United States. Where we transfer data internationally we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards.
5. Cookies
The Website sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Cookies you may encounter:
- Comment cookies: if you leave a comment and opt in, your name, email and website are saved in cookies for one year so you do not have to re-enter them.
- Login cookies: only for site administrators.
- Third-party cookies: set by YouTube after you click to play an embedded video, and possibly by our hosting provider’s traffic-measurement script.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Website will still work. Embedded videos may not.
6. How long we keep your data
- Form submissions and enquiry emails: for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and afterwards as required by Indian tax and export record-keeping law.
- Blog comments: indefinitely, so that follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically.
- Server logs: according to our hosting provider’s standard retention.
If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we must keep it for legal, accounting or security reasons.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@goldmohuroverseas.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 30 days.
8. How we protect your data
The Website is served over HTTPS. Access to form submissions and the site database is restricted to authorised staff and our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Links to other websites
Our blog links to external sources such as industry and research organisations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. Please read their policies when you visit them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
